Hey!
I had a good week. How have yours been with the first week of school and that other stuff? I did celebrate my year mark last week with some missionaries that lived by me. We went to Steak n Shake for old time memories, nothing really big.
This week has been fun because, we walked everywhere! Two of my wheel spokes popped on Tuesday, and being all bike, away from anyone with a car, we had to wait till I could get the spokes. The cool thing about it was that a lot people would see us walking up the highways, in the 28 day streak of 100 degree temperature.
We taught a lot this week. There was some guy that stop by the church looking for a Church home and he stopped us when we where walking. He told us how much liked it and for sure that he'll come back. We gave him a Book of Mormon. That's my 125 copy handed out since the start, and he told us he read it with his family.
Then on Friday was the the highlight of the week. We got together as 3 missions in Houston in down town. I found out that I was the one black missionary in the whole Houston mission. That was crazy! Then got to see all the missionaries that I served around and with. To many people wanted to talk! The thing that made it the highlight is that President Holland came to speak to us. He had a completely different feel in his talk than in conference and in the MTC. It felt like he he was just having a conversation, I liked it a lot. Yep, I got to meet him twice now!
I'm not sure what I'm doing when i get back, but it involves schooling without serving in the forces. I'm not sure what I want to get into and where. There are a lot of questions I have to figure out yet. I am thinking of them...sometime times.
Yeah, I been apart of baptizing 6 people, so far one person I have been to active on keeping in contact with is the Terreros family. They are the only ones I got to to see form the the beginning of teaching to baptism. I been seeing how they been doing. Other then that, I keep in touch with some members: the Jensens, the Goledos, the Hollansworths and the Rumsies. I also keep track of some Returned MIssionaries: Joshua Anderson, Marc Stone, and Brock Barlow. I want to keep in touch with more but I don't have enough time.
Prez says hi to you guys. Oh yeah, he's letting us go back to gym. That's been cool! I want you guys to know that I miss you. Hope to hear form you soon bye.
Daniel
